Less is more
When it comes to flower arrangements at events in 2020 simple is the best way to go. We will start to put more emphasis on one flower in a design. This can also be made up of a collection of vessels with individual varieties with tonal accent foliage to add variation and texture to the flower arrangements.
All about fauna
As part of our drive towards sustainability, we will be using more and more incredible foliage. Why do we need flowers when there of an array of incredible foliage, berries, grasses and branches. At events in 2020, we will see more natural and non-contrived flower arrangements in monochromatic tonal variations.
Seasonal
We predict more people will be keeping to the seasons, rather than trying to find flowers on a whim at any time of year and end up with inferior quality. Seasonality will give you the best of the best flowers and showcases nature in its finest form. Focusing on the best of home grown British flowers and foliage will be popular too, maybe not in large quantities but just a few of those incredible British beauties such as narcissi and widow iris in spring, garden roses and sweet peas in summer, dahlia and bloom chrysanthemums in autumn and foliage, berries and lichen twigs in winter.
Bold and beautiful
While flowers in 2019, particularly at weddings, have been more about pastel and muted tones, 2020 will see a resurgence of colour. Think wonderful pinks and purples, plus endless shades of the Pantone Colour of 2020 classic blue.
Make it personal
