Hello! I am Penny the newest Project Manager here in the sales team at Lavender Green Flowers.
With a real mixture of backgrounds, from studying History of Art to working on the client side of event management running international events for a publishing company and most recently re-trained as an Interior Designer working on commercial projects in London and abroad. I think my background is immensely helpful in understanding good design, ensuring we stay on trend and create that wow factor in all events we do.
My dream event would be to design a unique floral installation for a brand or restaurant linked into a theme or current event. Something immersive and overflowing with amazing flowers and foliage that would create a huge talking point and showcase the client.
With Summer just around the corner there are so many exciting events in the planning that I’m really looking forward to being involved with. As it will be my first crazy Summer with Lavender Green Flowers I will be shadowing the team on some of the big events like Wimbledon and the Chelsea Flower Show, but also working on a few smaller events myself.
The broad range of events that Lavender Green Flowers do allows me to see so many beautiful venues and work with really talented people, not just in floral design, but also in the world of catering and production. It is a huge privilege to be involved and see an event from the very beginning enquiry right through to spectacular results. I loved the recent event by Lavender Green Flowers at the Tower of London (pictured) which had some beautiful designs of wild foliage and natural looking design capturing the ‘Spring Fling’ theme.
I’m currently working on a huge series of events happening around multiple venues in London. It’s a fantastic event to be working on and really allows me to see multiple events coming together over a short time frame.
I can’t wait for the crazy days of Summer ahead…..
