This exclusive press lunch in the Ned’s Drawing Room was inspired by the juxtaposition of the hotel’s luxurious background and a modern editorial vibe, creating a contemporary twist on opulence.
Working with rich, textured shades of deep green velvet draping by Matt Maurice Events and undulating, endless tables from Options Great Hire as the canvas, we added layers of detail including florals, candlelight, bows and table lamps for a seamless and impactful whole.
Modern floral pieces made up of Anthurium leaves, green Dianthus, Bells of Ireland and delicate white spring florals were spaced along the curved tables, letting the empty space between make its own impression. This was filled with small ceramic dished containing tall modern stems on a floral pin frog, brass table lamps and black wrought iron candlesticks from which draped green bows, creating another layer of movement.
Our lush textures and moss were perfectly paired with Diptyque’s Le Figuier fragrance, creating a stylish woodland feel and as guests drew back the velvet green curtains, they felt transported into their own private garden oasis as they enjoyed a three-course meal courtesy of The Ned, paired with Perrier Jouet ad celebrated all things weddings.
