What a come back! After months and months of almost nothing entering or exiting the buildings, we have had a monumental June.

We are fortunate to have been incredibly busy this month with sporting events such as; Epsom Derby, Royal Ascot, Wimbledon, Queens and more to come. We’ve had lots of beautiful weddings, which have been wonderful to see happen, family celebrations of every kind have filled our weekends and the new Kings Road based store have had their busiest month yet, despite it coming during a huge premises move! – It really has been amazing to come back with such a bang!

The sporting events in particular, have hundreds of plants used in every corner of the venues. These plants spend their debut enhancing some spectacular events and then come back to us looking a little bit worse for wear. Sadly, we don’t have the space or the manpower to nurture them back to good health, so we have been busy donating them to lots of local charities, schools and community organisations.

So far in June alone, we’ve filled 3 Hospices and Care Homes with fresh flowers, helped build a wildlife garden at a primary school and a community garden locally. In total, over 50 teachers have been gifted with bunches of flowers as a way of thanking them for their hard work, and PTA’s have managed to sell fresh bunches of flowers at the school gates for important fundraising. Plants sales run by volunteers for 2 local foodbanks and a local state school rowing club have been hugely successful, meaning that our clients are literally feeding local residents and providing sporting opportunities for teenagers! – There is so so much more.

We have built a fabulous team of local volunteers who have helped us coordinate all of the above, and thanks to them collectively we have now managed to raise over £1100.00 in just one month.

We are immensely proud and honoured to be able to give back to such a diverse range of organisations, helping those who need it most is something that we firmly believe everyone should do to the best of their ability. It has been a very inspirational journey.

Our volunteers feedback their gratitude after every collection, allowing us to pass it directly to our clients, who often aren’t expecting it and are always thrilled to have been able to support such worthy causes.

Designs from all events and weddings with us, will automatically be donated to these causes from now on… unless the client would like to keep them for themselves (which we definitely recommend too!).

From our community, to yours, THANK YOU!
