At Lavender Green Flowers we pride ourselves on the long-standing relationships we have with the venues we are a preferred florist at. We feel hugely privileged that for the best part of 28 years we have been providing beautiful floral designs for some of the UK’s and London’s most iconic buildings and national landmarks, including the Historic Royal Palaces and Unique Venues of London.

As no client is the same, each event is completely individual and extremely special. The range of beautiful floral designs we offer is unsurpassed and from the initial brief with the client, we work closely with them to visualise the event and help curate the desired look and feel that they want from their flowers. With our highly inventive and experienced team of floral designers on hand to guide our clients through the event planning process, they can be relied upon to deliver perfect execution every time.

We believe that the finer details of the designs are equally as important as the flowers. We are very lucky to work alongside other top events suppliers, and for each occasion we ensure that we work closely with production companies and caterers from the outset. From the tableware to linen colours, this insight helps us craft the overall event experience, and something unique each time.

Nurturing our venues and keeping up communications is paramount, particularly over peak periods. Although each venue has one point of contact in the Lavender Green Flowers team, every florist and project manager gets involved in some capacity and is up to date with venue activity; it’s important to us that we all share the same passion and enthusiasm for each event.

The terms and conditions differ from venue to venue, another reason why it’s important that good relationships between our team and venue are maintained and we are very used to working around logistical challenges, like not being able to rest flowers in water or use real candles.

We know that the right LED candles give off a lovely warm light, as good as real candles. We might also incorporate faux flowers in to our designs, because they are incredibly realistic and of a high quality, and we ensure you still get the fragrance from a selection of the right real flowers too. Generally, though, sensitivity across all venues is key, and any restrictions that are in place can easily be overcome with some careful planning. Our events floristry team is used to operating seamlessly within the restraints of a building, and within tight time frames.

We make a big effort to visit our events venues regularly, on a social level as well as professional, and always go and see them prior to an event for a pre-event walk through. Throughout the year we always try to bring our team and the venue’s teams together too, whether it be an outing or bouquet masterclass in our Chelsea store, which further develops these relationships.
