A picnic amongst the flowers brought together local wedding planners for a beautiful day at a stunning flower farm in Marlston, specialising in seasonal British blooms. The day included a tour of the flower farm, along with an insightful lesson on the importance of British-grown flowers and the positive impact they can have on the environment and the floral industry.

Working with an abundance of gorgeous seasonal varieties grown by Kim and her team, we explored the very best of British flowers, from textural dahlias, zinnias and phlox to delicate cosmos, scabious and delphiniums. With the flowers in full bloom, the farm provided the perfect setting to celebrate seasonal British florals and sustainable flower growing.

The picnic was beautifully complemented by delicious canapés and seasonal dishes from wonderful zero-waste Sadgrove Farm, showcasing the very best of locally sourced produce. Guests enjoyed ice-cold British sparkling wine from Gusbourne perfectly chilled in Fabulous Fieldbar cool boxes, while elegant linen and tableware from Addison Ross Home completed the sophisticated picnic tablescape. This celebration of seasonal British food, local produce and elegant outdoor entertaining created a truly memorable countryside picnic experience.
