Job Title: Senior Event Florist
Location: In person in Windsor

Position Overview: With our Deputy Floristry Manager stepping into the Floristry Manager role on secondment, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Event Florist to join the team.
This is not a junior stepping-stone role. We are looking for a highly experienced florist with:
· 15+ years total floristry experience
· 10+ years in high-end events and weddings
· Proven experience running a workshop and leading a team
You will sit within our senior floristry suite, protecting standards, driving excellence in the workshop and ensuring operational confidence across complex event schedules.
This is a hands-on role. You must love being on the tools, but equally, you must be able to lead a room, structure a large build (at the studio or onsite), manage pressure and keep calm, commercially aware decisions.
Key Responsibilities and Duties:
Workshop Leadership & Delivery Ownership
· Take ownership of allocated events and projects from build plan through to execution
· Lead the workshop floor on event build days, structuring the room with clarity and confidence
· Allocate roles and responsibilities clearly to ensure efficiency and accountability
· Drive momentum and morale through both peak pressure and quieter periods
· Act as quality gatekeeper, ensuring no design leaves the workshop below Lavender Green standards
· Oversee mechanics, large-scale installations and technically complex briefs
· Maintain health & safety standards at all times
Events & On-Site Execution:
· Lead on significant event builds and high-value weddings
· Translate creative briefs into practical, deliverable build plans
· Take ownership of problem-solving in real time, both in the workshop and on site
· Support site visits where senior technical input is required
· Take control when things get busy or complicated, making clear decisions that keep the build on track and to standard
Team Leadership & Culture:
· Drive a motivated, focused and high-performing workshop environment
· Coach junior and mid-level florists through demonstration and constructive feedback
· Protect energy and morale throughout long build days
· Support the Floristry Manager in maintaining consistency of standards and behaviours
Product & Commercial Awareness:
· Take accountability for stem accuracy, wastage control and build efficiency on assigned projects
· Support quality control on incoming product
· Champion seasonality and sustainable sourcing in design execution
· Make commercially sound decisions under pressure
Operational Stability:
· Provide senior consistency during the secondment period
· Step into workshop leadership when required, ensuring continuity and confidence
· Protect standards across key contracts and sporting events
