We are now looking for an experienced Senior Wedding Designer to join our Weddings team, working closely with the Head of Weddings to deliver exceptional weddings for our clients.
This is a senior, hands-on role for an experienced, creative and relationship-focused individual who understands the importance of both design and client experience. You will bring a confident creative eye, strong commercial awareness and the ability to build trusted relationships with clients, venues and planners, guiding them from first conversation through to flawless delivery on the day.
You will take ownership of your weddings from concept through to installation, working with clients who expect creativity, attention to detail and calm professionalism throughout the planning process. The role requires someone who is confident managing complex briefs, balancing creativity with practicality, and delivering work that reflects the reputation Lavender Green has built over many years.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationships & Sales
• Manage wedding enquiries from initial contact through to confirmation
• Lead client consultations both in person and online
• Prepare clear, detailed and on-brand quotations and proposals
• Build trusted relationships with venues, planners and suppliers
• Drive strong conversion rates and deliver exceptional client experience
Creative Design & Delivery
• Develop creative concepts and mood boards aligned with Lavender Green’s design style
• Translate client briefs into considered floral schemes
• Lead the on-site execution of weddings and installations
• Support larger and flagship wedding projects during peak seasons
Planning & Operations
• Maintain accurate project records and timelines
• Prepare confirmations, invoices and internal briefs
• Collaborate closely with floristry, operations and logistics teams
• Monitor project costs to ensure efficient delivery
Brand & Industry Presence
• Maintain relationships with venues, planners and industry partners
• Represent Lavender Green at showcases, site visits and industry events
• Support marketing activity through imagery, content and showcases
What We Are Looking For
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in weddings, luxury events or floristry
• Strong creative eye and design sensibility
• Confidence managing client relationships and consultations
• Excellent organisation and project management skills
• Commercial awareness and attention to detail
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• A calm, solutions-focused approach under pressure
• A collaborative mindset and genuine passion for delivering exceptional weddings
