Maria & Martin

DESIGN MUSEUM

Our wonderful couple’s decision to elope to the romantic city of Paris set the stage for an extraordinary wedding celebration at the Design Museum. This exquisite event was meticulously themed around the enchanting essence of Paris, featuring captivating designs that included flower-fronted food stalls, abundant urns adorned with vibrant pink florals and lush green foliage reminiscent of the Jardins de Luxembourg. A picturesque river of blue Hydrangea graced the setting in front of a recreated Pont des Arts, cleverly doubling as a guest book. The piรจce de rรฉsistance was undoubtedly the floral centerpiece – an elegant flower cart from which guests picked flowers to be made into bouquets to take away.

This remarkable creative endeavor was brought to life through a collaboration with Rose Francis Events and an exceptional team of suppliers, including Jimmy Garcia Catering, Light Motif Production, Twilight Trees, and Prelude Entertainment. Their combined expertise ensured that every intricate detail was executed flawlessly, resulting in a harmonious and seamless celebration.

In addition to their Parisian soiree, the couple celebrated their civil ceremony at the historic Chelsea Old Town Hall, followed by an intimate lunch at Somerset House. Here, the focus shifted to Peonies, a flower that embodies the charm of Paris but was not in season in August. The floral arrangements featured an array of pink shades, accented by hints of yellow and white, creating a fresh and early summer color palette. The tablescape was elegantly adorned with simple yet effective bud vases, adding to the enchantment of the occasion.

  • Maria and Martin were over the moon with the floral decoration, they really elevated the whole lunch and made it so special. Martin’s mother in law is from the states, apparently they don’t get peonies as big and beautiful there, and she was amazed!.” – Somerset House lunch

A brilliantย evening and the flowersย were a HUGE part of that! The designs were stunning, especially the Flower cart which was a HUGE HIT and all the flowers went!! The videographer said he hasn’t seen one at a wedding before and thinks it could become a huge trend – so we are officially trendsetters – almost!! I also thought the hydrangea on the bridge looked great and loved the floral arches on the food station. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!” – Design Museum
